Well, we had one check in this evening, besides myself. Steve, WM6P, said that he could barely copy me, so perhaps the propagation was off, and of course, we tried changing the UTC time which may have confused some. I have a standing conflict at 8pm local time on a local 2 meter repeater ARPSC net, so I'd prefer to keep this net at 9PM ET, summer time or not.

I guess we'll see. Opinions, options?

Here is the checking roster for this evening:

WM6P Steve K3s KPA1500
N8SBE Dave K3s KPA500 Net control

Quoting Dave New <n8...@arrl.net>:

Fellow Elecrafters,

After the recent time change, we found that when attempting to meet at 0100 UTC, which now comes out to 8pm EST, there were several other nets running on and around our chosen net frequency of 3775 kHz.

I listened until after 9pm EST, which was our normal time during daylight time, and the frequency was clear, as we have experienced this past summer.

So, let's all try meeting this evening (Sunday local) at 0200 UTC, which will come out to 9pm EST/6pm PST.

See you on 3775 kHz, USB!

73,
