I have a K2 that is set up to use the Kenwood MC-43S Microphone. Since this rig is now my base station I would like to change the microphone setup. I would like to have a mic on a boom with a foot pedal PTT switch. I'm a complete noob when it comes to microphones and their different types. I have a Dynamic Cardioid XLR Microphone that was given to me. I don't know if I need an adapter, modify the K2 etc. I need some help on what I need to do or to get. I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
