At about 0045z on Tuesday morning (your Monday night) I called CQ on 17m CW. For the next hour, I had a solid run of stations in North America. I worked stations in Maine, Florida, VE7, Southern CA, etc. All over the continent, with many 599s. I probably could have continued, but I wanted to sleep a bit before getting back up (it was 0445 local time when I quit). I do run high power, but my antenna is a rotary dipole. Unfortunately, though I worked stations in MT, UT, ID, and CO, nobody in WY called me.

I just happened to be testing new firmware on the K4. Thought I'd
wrap it up and get to bed. (Not. Much DX worked on CW.)

Anyone else notice?
