Allan,

Contact k2supp...@elecraft.com about that problem - in the meantime, do not wear out the core of L30, just set it to about the halfway location. Instead compress or spread the red turns of T5 to see if you can obtain the proper R30 voltage.

It is not likely that L30 is the fault, but rather Q19, but Dave at Elecraft support can tell you more details.
