Then I suspect you powered the amp on before the transceiver, and the K3/K4 did 
not get the power-on message from the amp. Or perhaps there was some other 
reason the transceiver didn’t get that message. The amplifiers just report 
status to the radio; it is up to the radio to determine what it needs to do.
