Hi Rich;
One mistake many new folks make is re-setting the radio!
Unlike other radios, the K3 will then be blank and most likely inoperable.
So do -NOT- perform a Parameter-Initialization (factory reset) otherwise
known as an EE-INIT.
I do not see that serial # in our repair-reports, so it has not been
back for updates.
However, yours is new enough to have the important gold pin updates.
