I recently purchased a KXPA100 w/ KXAT100 at an estate sale. The price was very good, and I was able to power it up and do a cursory exam of the switches and buttons before purchase, but nothing more.
I'd like to use this with my new KX2. What testing can I do on the bench or with my KX2 to see if it's up to spec, or if I may need upgrades and/or repairs? The SN is in the high 460s. What year would it have been produced, and what (if any) hardware and/or software updates have their been since then? If it needs a tuneup, does anyone know any reputable repairmen?
