I was at NEAR-Fest in New Hampshire today and picked up a nice little KX1. I had been looking for a small QRP rig for some POTA and when I saw this I snapped it up. As far as I can tell, it has the ATU and 30M options. It appears to cover 7, 10 and 14 MHz bands.
The seller mentioned the VFO knob will not push in, making some menu selections difficult. Once I read through the manual I will take it apart enough to see if something is broken. The only other thing I notice is when I replaced the AA batteries one of the screws that secures one battery holder to the case back is the wrong style and is keeping one AA battery from sitting quite flush. Are any parts or options still available?
