A few men from church (Our Lady of the Assumption, Walton, KY) expressed their
curiosity and interest to me so we kicked off with a meeting at my house for
old-fashioneds and intro to ham radio. We have a chat on Signal where I prod
them with things like announcements of upcoming hamfests and recordings of
really loud signals from South Africa. So far one new ham and six or seven
waiting in the wings.
