I had never heard of a Safari 4! That was before I started my QEX subscription. What a blast from the past to see all those old devices: MPF 102s and 2N4427s and MC1496s!
And NE602s, which are again rumored to be out of production. What will we do without NE602s?? My Mount Rushmore of semiconductors is: The 1N34 germanium diode the 2N2222 the 741 op amp and the NE602.
