Mark, if you can FT8 with your KX2, you can spot with SOTAMAT (
https://sotamat.com/). There's even an app for your phone that you can
"play" the FT8 tones into the mic port, or even the internal mic of the kx2
to spot yourself. It takes some setup on the website and phone but you can
get it to work pretty well.

Another option is inreach spotting, Sotamat also supports it, and there's
another service that uses winlink that you can email from your inreach (
https://outnaboot.ca/potagw/) that works also.

If you CW then you can use the RBN to self spot if you have an activation
set up.
