Rick; Site-to-site may be the issue. That connects the network at your home with the one up in Tahoe, but it keeps the lans separate. I wonder if you were to connect to the Tahoe VPN directly from your laptop (using whatever VPN client is compatible) if it might just put your MBP on that LAN.
I have never played with the VPN stuff on my Ubiquiti Dream Machine, but it does provide some interesting opportunities. It looks like they support Teleport, which may be your solution. Now, finding someone who knows a lot more about their Ubiquity system (such as W9KKN) may be exactly what you need! 73, Jack, W6FB - see you in CQP! > On Sep 15, 2025, at 7:12 PM, Rick Tavan via Elecraft > <elecraft@mailman.qth.net> wrote: > > Running my KPA1500 with firmware 3.06: > > Using KPA1500 Remote on an Intel NUC running Windows 11 Home *on the same > subnet as the amplifier*, I can connect to the amp as expected via Connect > Local or Host Remote.
