I took a closer look and the BU931T does not seem to be available at Mouser or Digikey. BU931P was designed for the same application (automotive electronic ignition) and all the specs I compared were equal to, or better than, the BU931T.
It seems the P version is scheduled to go obsolete too but it is in stock at Mouser. Elecraft is still selling and repairing the KPA500. It would be interesting to know if Q5 was changed to a different type or if they have a lifetime stock of the BU931T.
