When using the AX3 does matter whether the radials are physically to the AX3, or will the radials be just as effective arrayed out just beneath the AX3? My setup has the AX3 mounted 13 feet above the ground mounted to a porch railing with a c-clamp with 12 radials raised 12.5 feet above the ground and arrayed in a 180 degree pattern just beneath the AX3.
