On November 7th, K4/0 shipments were put on hold while we carefully
evaluated all warranty-returned units, along with field reports of power-on
failures and related issues on new K4/0s. Since then, we have identified
the causes of these failures and successfully implemented solutions to
correct them. Each K4/0 has undergone extensive testing, and I’m pleased to
report that we are now resuming K4/0 production.


New K4/0s and repairs will resume shipping early next week, with the first
new K4/0s shipping to our remaining backlog of deposit orders, followed by
regular non-deposit orders.   We will also be shipping those K4/0's that
came in for repair and upgrades.

We will notify everyone once their K4/0s are about to ship.

We will be notifying all customers who received their K4/0 before today
(Dec. 11). These units will need to be returned to our factory in
California for warranty hardware and software upgrades, which will be
provided at no cost. This requirement applies even if the unit has not
exhibited any issues.  *Please wait to ship your unit* until you receive
the RSA paperwork and return shipping label.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused,
and we are working to ramp up K4/0 production as fast as possible.
