Glenn,
Be aware that there are two knobs that were used for the K2. The older
one has a smaller encoder shaft and if the encoder is a round one (with
some green material on the body), you need toe knob to fit that encoder
shaft). OTOH, if the encoder is the newer type with a black cubical
body, then you need the knob with the 1/4 inch shaft.
I do not know if Elecraft still has the older knob available, but the
Yaesu knob will fit the older encoder shaft.
