Hi Bruce It really is a kat2. It will go also without the ec2, if someone wishes so. I got a KPA 100 in the ec2, and installed it in my k2. So the KAT2 would not be used any more. For safety, it houses now in the ec2. . will sell kat2 and ec2 without top cover separately, if needed. 73, DK2LJ
