Several months ago, I recall a post from someone on the list - possibly from Wayne himself - describing an indoor antenna he used at home with his KX1.

Hi Steve,

Yup, that was me. I used #26 enamel wire to form a complete loop around the ceiling molding. The best configuration was with the loop shorted and a single wire running down the corner of the room to the radio. You'll also need a ground counterpoise wire -- I used about 16' of wire laid around the edge of the walls, at the baseboard. Everything is held in place with push-pins, which I color-matched to the paint in the room.

No coax needed to the rig. Just load it up and go. I've worked all over the world on 40 and 20 m with it, running 1 to 2 watts and internal batteries.

Despite the nearly invisible wire and camouflaged hardware, my wife discovered the installation within seconds. But she let me keep it :)
