Shame, shame, shame! So you made a mistake, ea? Welcome to the club :-) I *almost* completed my K2 with no mistakes. Near the end of one building session, I had very carefully soldered a resistor into its place, trimmed the leads and as I checked it off in the book realized I had the right resistor in the wrong spot! Perfectly mounted, nicely soldered & trimmed.
And of course I lost a couple of parts. Fortunately the spare parts bin had replacements for me so I wasn't held up. Oh yea, I had some bad solder joints as well. Reheating a bunch of connections resulted in issues disappearing. I suspect that very few builders get through the kit having made zero errors. I'd much rather have plugged something into the wrong P5 than to have soldered something incorrectly.
