So that makes 2 for and 2 against.  Or maybe 1 for, 1 neutral and 2
against.

Yesterday I leaned toward going with 2.6 KHz.  Today, I'm thinking 2.4
KHz is a more general purpose compromise.  The truth is, since I'm 95%
cw, the decision is pretty unimportant.

Then again, my 830s is 2.8 KHz IIRC, and I like it.  My Omni V was 2.4
and it was too narrow.  I put Inrad 2.8 KHz filters in it and it was
MUCH better.  Hmmm.

May I second Bob's comment. My KSB2 filter is roughly 2.2 kcs which I
find quite wide enough. On Tx with a Heil HC-5 (in boom mic) going
straight in, unsolicited reports on the audio have been very
complimentary.
