It arrived yesterday after fighting with the post office. I built in last night after dinner, seemed to go fine and test fine, I am at the installation into the rig point. No missing parts.
Curious to see what it does to the power output readings. I actually got on the air a few days ago with the K2, despite not knowing about 5 letters of the code. I answered a CQ of medium strength and going slow (8 wpm?) and got a QRS in response but I chickened out. Conditions were not good for QRP with radical fade outs on 40 meters. I wrote out the letters I need to know by sound without thinking so I can drive around and read signs in code to learn them. That's how I learned the first time... It's the usual J P U W X Y and Z. I should remember W and X as many ops send the WX reports during a QSO... Fun!
