Although it may be disconcerting, there is nothing wrong. The mic jack is held by the pins only, and those pins 'wiggle' a bit in the housing causing the outer housing to 'wiggle' It is not a problem and not an indication of something wrong.

I noticed the mike jack has a just a little, left to right, rotational slack. It's firm when you try to pull out or push in on the jack. Is something loose inside that I should be concerned with? I peeked inside, and if I don't have to dig my way down into behind the front panel, I'd really like to put it off into the far distant future. ;-/
