Sam,
Although it may be disconcerting, there is nothing wrong. The mic jack
is held by the pins only, and those pins 'wiggle' a bit in the housing
causing the outer housing to 'wiggle' It is not a problem and not an
indication of something wrong.

slack. It's firm when you try to pull out or push in on the jack. Is
