I'm a mediumwave broadcast band DXer. The ability to hear weak foreign station in the middle of our crowded broadcast band requires using USB and LSB as well as narrow SSB filters in order to reject strong local signals.
So the question is: if I'm tuning from 500 to 1700 kHz with my K3 will I still have access to these modes and filters or is the firmware going to restrict me to AM mode and a wider AM filter? I'm also keen to hear about whether we can select either sideband with the synchronous detector, asked by someone else earlier today. 73, many thanks and congratulations on all the excitement you've created!
