At the risk of starting another off-topic thread. Some schools in the UK have now banned conkers because of the 'risk' of injury! Can you believe this! We now have some people saying kids take risks they can't handle when they are older (and hurt or kill themselves), because not taking little risks when young means they can't access the risk properly. I agree with this. A list of some things schools are banning because they are dangerous: Conkers, Ice Slides (in playground) in winter, Snowball fights, climbing frames, climbing trees......
