I am looking for someone willing to troubleshoot and finish my K2, s/n 5567. I have completed the project up to the "Alignment and Test, Part II", page 60. At step 3 of the 4MHz Oscillator Calibration I get a reading of 12600 kHz instead of the expected reading of 12090 kHz. It has almost been a year since the error and I have been unable to resolve the issue. I spent the last couple of days redoing every step in the building of the RF board, checking for proper components and soldering. But the results are the same 12600 kHz.
Although I have enjoyed the building experience I have decided I would much rather be spending my time using my K2 then troubleshooting errors. Therefore I am looking for a builder willing to troubleshoot the error and finish the construction of the K2 and a SSB module. I will be more than happy to reimburse the person for their efforts.
