I agree, and am putting my toy budget into adding KPA100/KAT100 to my K2! But while listening to the Night of Nights last evening, I was really wishing for a general coverage receiver; I could only hear the stations that were in the 6400kHz range. I don't have one, and don't really have a place to put one.
*That* might push me over the K3 edge, eventually.
