Absolutely! I miss my old Ten Tec Omni and the Corsair we used
to use where you could listen to both VFOs.
It was great when you were in a split pile-up and even in contests
when you are outside of the US on 40M ---- transmitting below 7100
on SSB and listening in the US phone band!
