JT, The chokes you have will work. The color of the body makes no difference to the actual value.
Elecraft had to change the type of choke after printing the manual because of choke failures during installation. Be careful when installing your chokes as bending the leads too close to the choke's body can result in the choke opening up. It might be good practice to measure the resistance of the choke before and after installation. The resistance of the choke after installation will either be the same or lower depending on the circuit.
