Chris, I would create a "dongle" for the K2 mic jack that would "Y"
the mic jack into a clone mic jack in parallel with a mini jack for a
cable to your soundcard.  Put an audio isolation transformer into the
soundcard cable and experiment with levels - you may need to add a few
resistors to create a simple voltage divider to bring the level down.

OTOH, if a little wire stripping and soldering ain't your thang, just
buy one of those pricey interface boxes but I'm happily clueless about
them.
