Yes.
On my current radio (non Elecraft), whenever switching between rx and
tx antenna (while listening), each time one has to manually turn on /
off the attenuator and preamp.
We've avoided this problem.
The K3 block diagram indicates ATT attenuation is 10db. Is it
possible to increase/decrease attenuation level while operating?
No.
