   If you're using a computer, the application could potentially send 
   commands to the K3 to select different TX audio sources in real time. 
   We're working with software developers and adding new remote control 
   commands as needed.

I thought of that- that's why I mentioned "if the computer crashes" as
one of the situations where the mike would be useful.  And I could, I
suspect, put a "switch mikes" command on one of the PF buttons.

But was hoping, that since there is internal audio switching, that
could be tied somehow to an external, non-computer generated, signal.

It'd also be useful for SSTV (talk about minority mode!!) without
requiring software changes (I'll have to look and see if MMSSTV could
do the computer commands necessary, as is- it might).
