Eric or Wayne, correct me if I am wrong or the
shipping status page is incorrect, but the shipping
status page now says:

"2nd Production Run K3 shipments are targeted to begin
shipping the week of Nov 30th. Sold out."

That is fresh information as of November 19th and
indicates to me that they intend at this point to have
1st production units all shipped by month end
November.

If there were 100 to process, I expect that would be
too many.

But guys, the first 100 radios is a milestone, my
congrats and do savor the style in which those 100
radios were delivered. Thanks heavens there may have
been a rub or two but it was not like falling down the
stairs. (Did it seem that way?)

...

"How does a UPS man know he is delivering a K3???"

"The guy at the door is holding a camera". ;-)

Seriously - what they must think...

Gents:

I feel that the rumors are getting off track
again.....

As I recall (which may not be perfect), but in the
very beginning, it
was posted that (paraphrasing), "If you place a 50%
deposit, you can
have a SN in the first 200." There was never any
statement that 200
was the size of a production run, though lots of us
inferred that.
Later, again paraphrasing, the cheerful request for up
front cash
indicated that "A deposit will get you a low SN."

I believe that it was officially stated that the size
of production
run #1 (and #2) were increased, but no absolute
numbers were ever made
public (it's their ball).

For all we know, production run #1 is 100 radios...or
150, or 200 or
maybe 220 or 250. There are no facts on this
available to the general
public (including me).

I don't know/recall when submitted orders for Run #2
started, except
that it was before Dayton, 2006. All we have to go on
so far are the
dates that the orders were placed. So for sure,
orders placed at
Dayton are run #2. Counts - who knows?

Right now, I'll be content knowing that I"m somewhere
in run #2 and I
sure hope that I'll get my K3 before the December
holidays. Having
the last two weeks of the year off will give me lots
of time to
assemble and enjoy. But sooner is better! LOL

So I agree (based on my own opinion only) that if the
published
shipping schedule is adhered to, that probably another
100 radios have
to go out before "the week of November 30" ends. 20 a
day (M-F)
should do the trick. Add in a Saturday or two, and
YMMV.
