"I have been reading some of the construction comments of the existing K3
owners and note that they have had to disassemble previously constructed

pieces to install items to the base radio, e.g. the KPA100 assembly. "

Hi Forrest,

I built my K3 109 with revision C of the construction manual and can't
recall any time where I had to disassemble the 100 W PA. I think the most
recent manual was revised as much as possible to avoid that kind of problem.
It is necessary for you to follow the manual EXACTLY and take precautions
where the manual tells you to. If you come to a section that seems confusing
at first, re-read it until it doesn't. The manual is well written and when
followed should produce a K3 that will work with the first flick of the
on/off switch. Everything is supplied with the K3 kit except patience.
