I also requested this a few months ago. The K3 doesn't support external
tuners very well. Not only can it not trigger an external tuner or be
triggered to tune mode by one, but it doesn't drop to a safe power level on
tune like the K2 or other rigs. No promise of delivery on this.
BTW - the KRC2 is no help with this either
