What kind of amp are you using Ken? As is the delay is ~10ms. This has
been found to be fine for Alphas and Acom amps. If you are not sure, please
contact the amp manufacturer to see if that will meet the amp's relay
requirements.

Having this adjustable is on the list for updates.

Subject: [Elecraft] K3 - Amp keying

Hi All,
K3s #320 and #321 received Feb 8th, completed Feb 9th -very smooth inventory
and assembly, made easier by simultaneous build. Steep learning curve
required for familiarisation before ARRL CW test next weekend, as well as
computer integration for Multi-Single/Multi-Two station.

Re amp keying variable delay - FAQ says it will be available after initial
shipment.
No further info found on Main or Config menus.
Other than built-in delay available in contest logging programs, any ideas
for a work-around? We'd rather not use foot-switches.

Thanks for any help.

Ken ZL1AIH and Aki ZL1GO (ZM1A in contests)
