It's a simple fact that a major part of funding for trips like the VP6DX
operation comes from the QSL's the group will receive. Many/most
envelopes will contain $1 - $5 or more.
And then you go to the bank with USD 50k in 1$ notes.
Interesting situation, what with money laundering reporting rules and
everything. I've no doubt that the explanation will be accepted in the
end, but I'd like to be a fly on the wall when you go up to the counter.
