An easy way to set up your filters correctly & quickly is to go into the K-3
Utility, go to configuration, click edit crystal filters, once there make
your edits and click ok and it will make the changes right away to your rig.

Do you have FL1 (6 kHz) selected for CW mode in the filter parameter in
CONFIG? When the FL1 parameter is selected in CONGIG and you are in CW
mode, it should indicate 'YES' rather than 'NO'.

For TX, use only the 2.7 or 2.8 kHz filter for CW, SSB and DATA modes.
Selecting any other TX BW will generate a TXF error on transmit. Wayne may
broaden the choices for TX filter bandwidths in the future, and if anything
the CW TX bandwidth choices will be lower, not greater.
