Hello Elecrafters. Did you ever stop and think about what your doing when complaining about something with your K3. Here is a little company made up of very dedicated people who love ham radio and are successfully releasing one of the best rigs ever.This company stands poised to try to satisfy all their customers demands.
Here we are, in some ways, taking advantage of this company by complaining about not being able to operate a linear with a 110 volt AC switching voltage for keying! What do you want the Elecraft people to do, stand on their head. I have never seen an equipment vendor provide as much customer support that Elecraft does. There are limits and we are Radio Amateurs. We are suppose to be able to either perform some simple modifications or have a friend help you. I fully appreciate the fact that some of us are not technically endowed but the vendor cannot be responsible for every situation. When a vendor puts out a specification, he is only legally responsible to that spec. Elecraft had long since past this goal. If you buy an ICOM product and complain about their linear keying delay guess what, you live with it. All I am saying is appreciate what a good thing you have here when dealing with Elecraft.
