Hi David, I buildt the KX1, tuner and the 30/80m module all at the same time without doing it in stages. I had absolutely no problems and everything works like a charm. I can't think of any particular things to watch out for.
But is is TIGHT!!! Pay a lot of attention to getting the leads as short as possible plus bending components down flat as required.
