Hi, Yes, why would you want it to stay on when changing band or QSYing. Both result in a whole new scenario where RIT or XIT are probably not required, at least initially.
Also with regards to memory management, I certainly don't want a load of nanny steps to stop me mucking it up. As has already been mentioned, you soon learn not to stuff it up. I prefer to need to think a little. Been listening to the K2 and K3 on the same beacon signal, noticeable delay in the signal passing through the K3. No problem but maybe the nano second band change QRQ people might wonder why the other guy has gone back to someone else whilst your DSP filters are emptying.
