I have just realised that I had MacLoggerDX running on my Mac during the qso where I had the problem and wondering if the volume control slider on that were somehow misbehaving with rf into the serial connection. 80m knocks out my broadband connection, so there is a possible emc issue there. If anyone can come up with another similar experience that would be useful.
For the moment it's not a show stopper! 73 Stephen G4SJP On 01/06/2008 21:24, "Stephen Prior" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I've been on 80m ssb tonight running 100W both with vox and without. > > On two occasions I have gone to receive and been totally deafened in the > headphones, requiring me to turn the af gain down quickly.
