Ordered Dec 23 received June 4. I very much enjoyed the build and really like the rig but I am having some issues with the setup. I cannot even find a mic pinout in the manual. Wow, that would seem to be pretty basic information to be included. I do have an MC-60 which is supposed to be pin for pin compatable with the K3 but I cannot get much output swing on the meter. I know the PA is working because I have tried it in CW and lots of output on CW but the out put is low on SSB
I know others have had issues with this but I don't seem to find any solutions in the archhives. I wonder if someone with an MC-60 that has successfully set the rig up could please email me and perhaps compare notes? I would sure appreciate it. My emails should show up at the beginning of this post. If not I can post it on here. Also. I'm wondering what to use to key the amp. I have an Ampkeyer for interface. Does a guy just use the switchable 12 volts for that?
