First let's start with XML for memories and configuration. At the moment the configuration is not a great CAT interface but it does work, if we can later select a configuration entry directly from software (example: Brightness=Medium, AudioLevel=LedZep) then we're really in business.

In 10 years (or less) the K4 will support loading data direct from XML :-)

Looks like the majority of us agree that XML is the way to go on the project. I loved the "porky" comment. Yes, it is porky in large applications and can be quite large. But, XML is really perfect for this application.
