Wes Haywards has a preamp using BF998 MOSFETs http://www.w7zoi.net/lna50.pdf. The PDF is a 50MHz preamp and instructions to build one ugly style. The MOSFET's will cost you $1.25 for about 20-30 of them. Just another option for a 6M preamp
