I got Vista drivers for the Prolific chipset from Microsoft Update when I first plugged the KUSB into my laptop. This is mentioned in K3 Utility Help under USB to Serial Adapter Troubleshooting:
Microsoft Windows Vista users can obtain an acceptable device driver from Microsoft's Windows Update service when the KUSB is first plugged in.
