Best of all is a TR-LOG feature that allows you to tap the shift keys to
bend the RIT -- then hit both to clear it.  This was a feature in the
Kenwood command set that Elecraft adopted.  I don't *think* any other
programs have this feature, but I could be mistaken.

I agree, although I have RIT on most of the time anyway.  What I really
appreciate is being able to adjust the RIT during transmit.  When someone
answers a CQ, I am busy typing in their call sign and not able to
simultaneously adjust RIT.  So, while my response transmission is going out
to them I can adjust the RIT.  I've already heard their signal and can
blindly adjust the RIT for optimum copy when they come back with their
exchange.  Then, my TU message (or subsequent CQ message) clears the RIT to
be ready for the next caller.
