What happens if you push and hold MODE/ALT to switch sidebands while in LSB
mode? Will it not change to USB at all?
If it won't, I'd try reloading the last release version of the firmware.
Then if that's OK, try the beta again. Perhaps a bit fell in the bit bucket
during the upload.
