Whimsical is a good description. But yeah, why not? 

You might want to get the most current version. A couple of folks reported that 
the meter was off by 2-3 S-units. I think I've fixed that problem. I've also 
added some anti-aliasing to the needle drawing routine in Windows. It's not so 
"jagged" now. Now it looks almost as good on Windows as it does on the Mac...
