when calibrating the S meter, the manual says to have the pre-amp on, SMTR MD to Relative (NOR) I find that I can't even get close. with the pre-amp off it fall right into spec. as per the manual, with the SMTR MD set to Nor I am using the XG2, and receiving on 20 mtrs. with SMTR MD set to Abs and with the pre-amp on it falls right into spec.. am I missing something ? or is the manual in error..
