I am looking for a desoldering station. I have been currently using a combination of solder wick and solder sucker as appropriate, but after 18 years in avionics, miss the Pace station. Any recommendations? Also, I have noticed on Ebay quite a few hot air soldering stations. I know they are used primarily for SMT work, but how are they on thru hole with a sufficiently narrow tip? Stuff has changed a lot over the years...
